Happy Star Wars Day!
Luke: May the 4th be with you
Leia: And also with you
Han: I know
MEANWHILE… Many will celebrate by tweeting about it or liking memes on Facebook or G+. But some of you are looking for more substantive ways to celebrate. Here are my top ten ways to celebrate May the 4th Star Wars Day:
10 – Dress up in Jedi clothing and creep out people at the mall…
9 – Speculate on what the next Star Wars movie might be like…
8 – Pray for the health of 81 year old legendary composer John Williams
7 – Bake some cookies with your Asteroid Worm oven mitt…
6 – After you’ve baked them, brew up some Javva the Hutt to drink with your Carbonite Cookies…
5 – Watch the Old Republic trailer and hope that the new movies might actually receive better directing than video games now do…
4 – Afterwards you can take a nice nap in your Tauntaun Sleeping Bag…
3 – Freeze George Lucas in Carbonite to ensure he doesn’t meddle too much in the new movies…
2 – Use the “Yoda speak generator” Find on the internet, you will, this site. Translate everything you type into something yoda might say, it does. I sense that it is pretty awesome. You aren’t clicking on the link, that is why you fail.
1 – Watch the entire “Star Wars Uncut” video made of 15 second clips of everyday people reenacting the entire movie… yes this actually exists because the internet is a factory of awesome…
So, how are you celebrating? Or how would you like to if you had the money/time?
If only I had 2:03:52 to watch the uncut video 🙂 Funny!
I confess I have not seen the whole thing… but we watched the first 15 min as a family, and then I watched about 50 random minutes of it on saturday for fun. It’s so wacky!
“a factory of awesome…” My favorite line of this post.
🙂
mine too.
